Eh

Well, the talk yesterday didn't go so well. The usual issues with having to go back to first principles to convince people of things, plus it was a pretty informal talk for a formal audience. Not the worst talk I've ever given (or seen, definitely), but the worst talk I've given since graduate school. It was just weird.

Ah well, it's an opportunity for me to kick myself in the pants and figure out how to do better with these people the next time. And I did get some exposure and now some important people know about my work.

Bleah.

Now have to sit through another day of talks. Looking forward to getting "home" to Paris.
