I just got files I needed off my external hard drive through realizing it was partly a permissions problem; I can't change the permissions on the drive itself, but I can copy files as root to my work computer and then change permissions there.
This makes me happy!!!
Had a francophone lunch over couscous. I do much better with understanding when I choose the topic of discourse. I guess that's true in English, too.
