Talk went fine, and also I met someone important (and also nice, and we have some serious interests in common, and she invited me to a workshop in December).
More on that later. I just wanted to post this link to a map of the violence in France. Note that the number of cars burned seems to be decreasing in Ile-de-France (i.e., Paris and environs).
