The JetBlue terminal at JFK makes for quite a nice layover, as I wait for my flight back home. Free wireless!
The flight over was perfectly uneventful; got to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and was (as always) impressed with Johnny Depp making the implausible look plausible. They let me back into the US; I was surprised to discover that since I'm not a resident of the US anymore (erm, let's say, "at the moment" instead of "anymore"), I don't get the $800 allowance of things to bring back in, but just $100. The amount I put on the form was more than $100; who would believe a mere $100 at Christmas time? But they didn't care in any case.
Good to be back in the states. To celebrate, had a cheeseburger and a glass of water with ICE in it. I'm still saying "pardon" and "merci," though.
