From atop the Arc de Triomphe

As part of a photographic project whose details I don't wish to reveal yet, I went to the top of the Arc de Triomphe today. It didn't really work out for the purposes of the project, but I thought I would share with you guys the required photo of the Eiffel Tower. It's interesting lighting, isn't it?

Then I walked down the Champs-Elysées, all the way to the Louvre. It was cold and gray but there were a lot of people out, tourists of all kinds, families, rollerbladers.

Lovely, lovely photo of the Tour Eiffel. In fact, all your photos are lovely, mostly because of the light. Is the light different in Paris? I'm so happy to think of you amidst all that light.

Thanks! The light is somewhat different...I guess in part because the sun is still rather low in the sky. I'm looking forward to it getting higher, but the low angle really does make for interesting photos sometimes.
