Study break

Somewhere in the last three hours I went from thinking I would do badly speaking in French tomorrow, to thinking I'll be fine. At least, the handout is fine. What I know from experience is that I won't be able to understand what other people are saying in French, so I may need to ask them to switch to English for that reason. But I ought to be more or less fine.

As this handout gets fleshed out, I'm increasingly amazed that I'm writing it in French. One funny thing is that when I think of perhaps sharing it with various people, I have to stop and ask myself, "But do they read French?" I guess I could translate it, but...! Ah, I'm so spoiled by being a native English speaker.
