I'm at the Café Français, watching the police clear about a hundred kids out of the Place de la Bastille. This is exactly what they were doing when my parents were leaving to go to the airport.
At about 4 or 5 this afternoon, there will be about a million people streaming through here. I'm planning on coming back with my camera, early on so as to avoid the hooligans ("casseurs") that will of course follow in the wake of the manif.
