I'm in for the night, and I have to sleep fast because my talk's tomorrow morning. I didn't take as many photos today, but regardless, I'm not going to upload them tonight. But I thought I would leave you with two surprising things about Israel.
1. It's so.... normal. I don't know quite how to articulate it, but I guess I always had this idea that it was war-torn or exotic or something. And it is a little of those. But mostly, it's just normal, at least Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, as far as I can tell. Normal people having normal lives. Yeah, you get your bag checked twice on the way into the concert hall, and you have to show your passport to be let in at the gate of the university, but mainly it's just normal.
2. Feral cats. Everywhere.
