So I had been hearing about this painting that JD was working on, on this very large sheet of plywood he had picked up off the street, something like 4 feet tall. He wouldn't tell me what it was but he hinted that I would like it (he also said, "I've spent a lot of time on it, and sadly, it looks it!" Though I wouldn't agree with that second part). Yesterday I finally saw the painting.
It's of me! And it looks like me! Isn't that the Best Thing Ever?
It really looks like me, with a characteristic smile on my face. I'm sitting in a red armchair, it's from about the waist up... and for some reason I am not wearing any clothes... but hey, it's been hot out!
Anyway. It's not done yet, but maybe JD will let me post a photo when it's done. And then eventually I'll have to figure out where in my tiny apartment to put it...
