Ok, just some precisions:
La perte (et non le perdu) du ballon
plonger is not only to try to fool the ref, but the goal keeper can also plonger to catch the ball :)
And did you know picasso sculpted soccer players ??? :)
apparently, yes, match nul is just a tie no matter what the score is.
