One of the great things about hanging out with JD is that he recognizes celebrities.
Once when we were at Café de Flore, he pointed out that the guy next to us was the French guy who swears a lot in the second Matrix film. (I don't remember, but I never do.)
Tonight we walked by Jack Lang, former education minister and possible socialist presidential candidate, on rue des Francs Bourgeois. It seems that he had come from the airport.
Presidential elections in May here, by the way... no one's very enthusiastic about anyone running, so far as I can tell.
