It's cold....

It's very cold here. Well, relatively speaking, anyway. I remember my friend E from Finland said that she was always colder in Philly than in Helsinki, because in Helsinki people knew how to build houses against the cold. It's something like that here.

Yesterday I had lunch with Rn from the group blog. We were going to meet in front of the Panthéon but it was just too cold, so we met, ironically enough, in the nearby Picard. (Non-Parisians, this was ironic because Picard sells frozen food.)

We had Lebanese wraps at a place nearby, and some really great baklava. Afterwards we saw some very cold pigeons huddled up against a warm vent on the side of the law school building. I don't know if you can tell from the photo just how huddly they were, but we really felt sorry for them.
