Vegetal fibers day at les soldes

After I spent an undisclosed amount on the purse, I told myself I was done with the sales. But the other day I bought some kitchen stuff at BHV (including the same salad spinner I have at home buried in a box marked "kitchen" somewhere). Then today I went back, after having consulted with my mom, to get some linen napkins for her (5.67 euros each! such a deal!). Then I was on a roll, so I bought some more things full of fibery goodness.

I've needed hand towels for a while. They had towels made of bamboo fibers for only 3.10 each, very soft and silky and absorbent. (Bamboo is a renewable resource, haven't you heard?) 7 euros got me a larger towel for travel or the gym.

Then, on the way home, I stopped at Pier 1, which is called Pier Import here, but I always think of it as Peu Importe ("It doesn't really matter"). I was looking for a cheap wastepaper basket, and I found one for 2.73!

Now I'm in for the night. I think I'm just going to gently stroke my new fibrous objects until I fall asleep.
