The big painting
So JD has been working on that big painting of me, on and off, for a while. It's still in progress, but we tried to take a photo of it the other day. It's a bit hopeless because of the glare, but at least you can get some idea of what it looks like. Neat, huh? :)

It's amazing to me that although there is little facial detail, it still looks like you. I also like the use of light on your face.

Yes, I think so too. JD says it's how I normally look. :) Or, I guess, :(!
Also, it's harder to paint a smile... sorry... :)))
Wow, that's like the opposite of the "it takes x muscles to frown but only y muscles to smile" meme, where x is more than y.
It takes more muscles to paint a smile than to paint a frown ;-)))
