The other night JD and I were going to Solo to celebrate his brother's birthday, or so I thought. But as we walked in, I realized that 15 of my best friends were there... wearing my favorite color... and there were birthday balloons and a banner...
At first I didn't realize it was my own birthday party. Well, given that my birthday was two months ago, can you blame me? But I did figure it out and was just absolutely floored, I had no idea JD was planning something like that. I was utterly flummoxed for a good long time, and moved to tears of joy. What a wonderful surprise, and when I was least expecting it. (Sorry J, I guess this means you've been outdone in the birthday department!)
More about the party later, but I just wanted to post that. :)
