Myths about Paris

Expatica holds forth on the subject of myths about Paris.

I guess I mostly agree with them... Parisians are not that unfriendly, service is not that good (though I thought that was the popular opinion), and you can wear jeans (though SOME PEOPLE, ahem JD, suggest that I look better in skirts).

One thing I have to disagree on, however, is their first myth. Yes, Virginia, it is expensive in Paris. Food prices are going up here the same way they are everywhere else.
