Still in technological limbo

Why am I still in technological limbo?

Because my external hard drive isn't readable by anything but a Win XP machine...and the CD I saved my email files on (from my external hard drive) has those files unreadable on a Linux machine...and O's computer can read it but is too old to deal with my USB key...And I have Thunderbird set up on this machine but I would really hate to have to redo all my filters. Maybe gmail is the answer...someone want to send me an invite?

And in other news, it doesn't look like this computer is going to be doing anything wireless anytime soon, because I can't understand how to make it work.

Whine, whine, whine.

Had a meeting this morning for the whole lab, all in French, so was lunch but C tells me I did well with French at a technical discussion at lunch.
