Hi again from chilly Saint Denis. Guess what: the RER D trains aren't running today, because of a strike (une grève). No problem for me, I just took line 1 to line 13 on the métro. Tomorrow it's going to be more strikey, but I haven't quite figured out the details.
Anyone with free time on their hands, the ability to read French, and the knowledge of what an rss feed is: Is there an rss feed for Paris transit strike information?
About iChat: for those of you who are PC people, it's the same as AIM, more or less (AOL Instant Messenger). So if you have a username on that, let me know. AIM is going to be a good way to keep in touch. I'm definitely not lonely for company in Paris, but as we approach Thanksgiving, I miss all of you guys! It has voice capability, so we can talk online for free. Or just instant message (by typing).
Speaking of Thanksgiving, I'm going to a Thanksgiving party on Saturday chez my American friends. Don't have plans for the actual day of, though...don't know what to do about that. Might try to work on my Canadian friend A...he at least has an actual oven, even if his Thanksgiving already happened. A Buffy Thanksgiving? Hmm.
