It's the day the Buddha awakened! Yes, I'm into these early December holidays...
The workshop started today and it's excellent. I'm headed to bed but the other news of the day is that my carte de séjour, you know, the thing that lets me stay in France or get back in, is actually finished and waiting for me at the prefecture office. Of course, they didn't actually bother to tell me this, and I still need to figure out exactly which office they're talking about, but it's a start!
