I finally found the French equivalent of BBC radio. It's Radio France Internationale. The best part is that three times a day they do a 10-minute "easy french" newscast. They also have segments on words that are in the news, and exercises, and everything. It's recorded with much better sound quality than France Info, thank goodness. So that's definitely becoming part of my routine.
RFI rocks, in general. They even have something like a shipping forecast! I know, I know, nothing will replace the REAL shipping forecast for me, but I'm glad there's one in French.
