Seeing a snail in the wild in France reminded me that in Japan, people supposedly say "Oishisoo!" ("That looks tasty!") when they go to the aquarium. JD, as the representative Frenchman, did not do anything like that, however. But I don't think he's a particular fan of snails, with or without herbs and melted butter.

Mm, ça a l'air bon
We've been having a lot of rain. Last week JD and I saw a number of snails by the Port de l'Arsenal at dusk. I nearly ran over one with my wheely bag but JD caught me in time.
