Shout-out

Two of my friends started new blogs recently.

My friend JD decided he has had enough with all the stuff he owns, and is giving away his CDs, one CD at a time. His new blog g1d (that's "gagne un disque") presents a music-related puzzle most every week (in French), and if you're the first to guess what CD he's referring to, you win that CD. He's off this week, but that gives you time to sharpen your head against his previous puzzles.

My friend Meg is striking out with a project proposing for you what music to hear and what food to eat in Paris, with MU FOO. MUsic and FOOd, get it? She formerly wrote for Gridskipper before its change of management, and she's one of the most branchée Parisians I know...(I mean that in the somewhat literal 'plugged-in' sense, not the 'trendy' sense), so people, take her suggestions, by all means.
